Should you adams apple move up just a little bit when you begin to sing?

I am asking because. I am taking Brett Mannings singing success. It's
like I can't stop my adams apple from moving up. It even moves up a
little bit when I talk in a normal voice. When I begin to sing, it
moves up just a little bit, but that is where it stays through the
whole time that I am singing It is really hard to explain.
