How often should I have a piano lesson? Weekly or monthly?

Hi there, I've been having piano lessons for 6 months, and now my
local teacher is moving house to a small village with no train
station, so to see her would be a 4 hour round trip. Normally I have
a half hour lesson once a week, but she says I could travel to see her
for a monthly 2 hour lesson instead. I don't think that's good for a
beginner (maybe ok for a high level) but she doesn't want to lose me
as a pupil she says. What do you suggest? I could easily find
another teacher but don't really want to upset her, but on the other
hand I am not sure if 2 hours of piano playing all at once, at my
level is a good idea?
