Name of a Christmas Movie?

I think this movie was on abc family...it was a girlfriend that went
out looking for her dog b/c it ran out and gets hit by a car and dies.
Then the boyfriend gets a second chance to save her life and gets to
replay the scene and he then saves her life and gets hit by a car???

This is all I can remember from the last time I saw this movie...
